Macmillan Cancer Support

improves the lives of people affected by cancer. We provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and campaign for better cancer care. Cancer affects us all. We can all help.

Get support

Woman reading a leaflet in an information centre

You can get information and support including visiting an information centre, joining a support group, and talking to us.

Our recent merger with Cancerbackup means that as well as providing emotional support, we can now provide information on all cancers and treatments and clinical support from our cancer information nurse specialists, via phone and email. See the ways we can help for further information.

The different types of cancer

We have information on the signs and symptoms of the most common cancer types in the UK, as well as cancer type-specific resources for further information or support.

Our recent merger with Cancerbackup ensures we can provide more details on cancers and treatments, See the Cancerbackup site for further information.
